Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor Swift was born on the 13th of December, 1989 in West Reading, Pennsylvania. Swift has been a pop/country singer-songwriter for more than 20 years. Her tales about romance and love at first sight has earned her the acclaim of many in the 21st Century. Swift's love for music started at an early stage. From children's plays to appearing in front of crowds, Swift made rapid progress. At the age of 11, she sang The Star-Spangled Banner before a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game and next year, she picked up the guitar and began to write songs. Swift became inspired to create her own music by the music of country genre such as Shania Twain or the Dixie Chicks. Swift was just 13 when her parents made the choice to sell their Pennsylvania farm and relocate to Hendersonville Tennessee. She could spend all of her time to reaching out to country labels located in Nashville.
